CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is the long-running CBS crime procedural series that follows teams of forensic investigators as they work cases in the city of Las Vegas. The series, which premiered in 2000 and has aired for 12 seasons, has spawned the two official long-running spin-offs: CSI: Miami and CSI: NY. The cast over the years included Dr. Gil Grissom (William Petersen), Captain Brass (Paul Guilfoyle), Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), Nick Stokes (George Eads), Dr. Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne) and D.B. Russell (Ted Danson).
