CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is the long-running CBS crime procedural series that follows teams of forensic investigators as they work cases in the city of Las Vegas. The series premiered in 2000 in the US on CBS and continues to air original episodes on the network. CSI would also spawn two official long-running spin-offs: CSI: Miami and CSI: NY and a third is scheduled to premiere in the fall of 2014.
