Breakdown is a 1997 thriller starring Kurt Russell as an ordinary guy who finds himself in the middle of the Arizona desert trying to locate his missing wife who goes missing after their car breaks down. The film was written and directed by Jonathan Mostow, who went on to direct U-571 and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

The Beretta 92FS is held by Earl (M.C. Gainey) when questioning Jeff Taylor (Kurt Russell).

When Jeff goes to the home of Red (J.T. Walsh), he finds a SIG-Sauer P226 in a glove compartment, which he later uses to threaten Red. It's also seen in the hands of Billy (Jack Noseworthy).

A factory black (K-Kote) SIG-Sauer P226 pistol chambered in 9x19mm. This is a real movie gun and has appeared in several motion pictures.

Smith & Wesson Model 28

Sheriff Boyd (Rex Linn) pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 28 revolver when he pulls Jeff over.
