Bosch (2014-)

Bosch is a police procedural series starring Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch, the eponymous LAPD homicide detective made famous in a series of crime novels written by Michael Connelly, the author of such books as Blood Work and The Lincoln Lawyer. A pilot was commissioned by web retailer Amazon.com and was made available for free on their streaming service in February of 2014. Following positive feedback from viewers, Bosch was subsequently picked up for a full season and all 10 episodes were made available for streaming in February of 2015. When Bosch was picked up as a series, the pilot episode was re-released with some significant changes made, namely the recasting of several characters as well as the removal of several scenes and new ones substituted. (A bit of trivia: In Connelly's novels, Bosch is the half-brother of Mickey Haller, the Los Angeles attorney portrayed by Matthew McConaughey in the feature film adaptation of The Lincoln Lawyer.)
