Blue Arrow (a direct translation of original title Golubaya strela) is a Soviet 1958 espionage action movie directed by Leonid Estrin. A new Soviet jet fighter plane, fitted with a device that allows it to reach great altitude, is the target of the operation of foreign intelligence service. The plane is downed over the Black Sea during the test flight, and the pilot Maj. Karpenko is captured by the enemy submarine. A diver from submarine finds the drowned plane and disassembles the device. But the activities of Soviet border guards and Navy ships, and Karpenko's fortitude make the plan fail.

Note: the movie was never restored and the DVD release has original grainy film.
