Blown Away (1994)

M1911

A Colt M1911-type pistol (looks like a Series 70) is used by an M.I.T. student who commits suicide and then leaves his ex-girlfriend trapped with a bomb in the computer lab.

Colt 1911 Series 70 .45 ACP (Gun in movie appears to resemble this most).

The dead M.I.T. student with the M1911 variant he used to kill himself lying nearby.

Glock 17

A Generation 2 Glock 17 is Jimmy Dove's (Jeff Bridges') sidearm throughout the movie. Glock 17s are also used by all of the other Boston PD officers, including Franklin (Forest Whitaker).

Mossberg 590 Mariner

A Mossberg 590 Mariner shotgun is used by Blanket (Ruben Santiago-Hudson) to detonate the bomb that kills him.

The cylinder from the bomb kills Blanket after he fires his Mossberg 590 Mariner at it.

L1A1 SLR

During Jimmy Dove's flashbacks to his days as an IRA member in Belfast, the British Army soldiers that he sees are armed with L1A1 SLR rifles, the British version of the FN FAL.

M1928A1 Thompson

In Jimmy Dove's flashback, one of the IRA members killed accidentally by Ryan Gaerity's (Tommy Lee Jones') bomb is armed with an M1928A1 Thompson Submachine gun.

Sawed-off Mossberg 500

Another of the slain IRA members killed by the bomb in Dove's flashback is armed with a sawed-off Mossberg 500 shotgun.
