Pistols

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is handled by Council agents operating on foot as their main sidearm as a substitute for the Beretta 92 pistol. Usually this would be wrong since the original movie is set in the 1960s. But since the 2009 movie is set in the 1970s and that the Council operates via black operations to take out chiropterans before the public knows about them, it's possible that the Council leaders covertly acquired the pistols a bit earlier than the 1975 production date.

Beretta 92FS - 9x19mm.
Council agent Michael Harrison (Liam Cunningham) aims his 92FS at Luke after being told that he assassinated General McKee at Yokota Air Base.
Luke (J. J. Feild) being forced to give up after being threatened by Michael that he would shoot him.
A dead Council agent inside General McKee's Yokota Air Base residence.
The strangest thing with props when Frank Nielsen (Andrew Pleavin) aims his Beretta 92FS at Council agents approaching him. This is an anachronism since he should be armed with the M19A11. They obviously corrected this prop goof later.

Colt M1911

The Colt M1911 is seen in the hands of US Air Force personnel as their standard weapon since the movie is set in the 1970s.

Original Colt M1911 (dated 1913) - .45 ACP.

A US Air Force airman guards the interior of the interrogation room. You can see (albeit possibly barely) his M1911 is holstered.
Frank Nielsen aims his M1911 at Luke (J. J. Feild) inside General McKee's house.

Revolvers

Colt Single Action Army

A Colt Single Action Army was among the possessions of General Howard R. McKee (Larry Lamb) in his Yokota Air Base residence. He uses it to shoot Luke after he takes down Frank with an injection on his neck, but fails.

Another shot of Luke handling the SAA.

Nambu Model 60

A Nambu Model 60 is seen near the end of the film in the holster of a Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department officer.

Assault Rifles

Colt M16A1

The Colt M16A1 is seen throughout the movie in the hands of US Air Force airmen.

On the right side, another shot of the same airman holding the M16A1. This time, you can see the entire rifle he's holding, including the barrel.

Custom M16A1

A Council agent uses a M16A1 customized for sniping work in order to assassinate Alice McKee in Shinagawa.

Machine Guns

M61 Vulcan

The M61 Vulcan is the standard machine gun of F-104 Starfighters stationed at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo's Fussa City. When the Starfighters were formerly in service, the M61s were known as the T171 Vulcan.

Others

Cleaner Gun

The Cleaner Gun is used by Council operatives assigned to cleaning duty by wiping out chiropteran corpses in order to prevent public panic and show the world of their existence. Frank steals one from the two Council agents detained temporarily at Yokota Air Base. The cleaner guns work by melting off anything the mist comes into contact with.

A Council cleaner agent fires the cleaner gun at a corpse.
General McKee inspects one of the cleaner guns taken by Frank in his personal office.
