Beyond the Law (1992)

Pistols

Smith & Wesson 39

Daniel 'Dan' Saxon (Charlie Sheen) carries a pair of nickel plated Smith & Wesson 39s with pearl grips when he goes undercover as a biker named Sid. He carries them in dual pistol shoulder holster rig made by Galco Gun Leather.

Beretta 92FS

Virgil (Leon Rippy) uses a Beretta 92FS to shoot out the back windows of Dan's car, which makes Dan do the same to Virgil. A DEA is seen with one when Dirt (Ed Adams) is arrested.

Beretta 92SB

Blood (Michael Madsen) carries a nickel plated Beretta 92SB with wood grips throughout the film.

Dan attempts to draw one of his Smith & Wesson 39s after disarming Oatmeal but Blood gets the drop on him.

Glock 17

When Dan and Oatmeal go to the van to select a weapon to shoot at cans. Dan first checks out Glock 17 before deciding on an M1911A1. An AZ State Trooper draws his service Glock 17 on Dan after Dan & Virgil got into a fight with two members of the Duster gang.

A Generation 2 Glock 17 in 9x19mm. This model added finger stepping and cuts to the backstrap of the frame to make it easier to hold than the Generation 1 model.

Remington Model 95 Double Derringer

Dan Saxon (Charlie Sheen) carries a Remington Model 95 Double Derringer? as his backup weapon.

After first checking out a Glock Dan decides on an M1911A1 to shoot at cans.

World War 2 issued Colt M1911A1 Pistol - .45 ACP

Dan checks the chamber on the M1911A1.

Dan fires the M1911A1, which misses the can. Dan would have had a better chance of hitting the can than Oatmeal as he actually uses the sights.

Revolvers

Colt New Service

After Blood shot the clerk. Dan stays behind and has a flashback of his younger self (Brian Law) shooting his uncle (John Schwer) with his service revolver a Colt New Service.

Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose

A biker is seen checking a Smith & Wesson Model 19 snub before the San Carlos run. Oatmeal (Dennis Burkley) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 19 snub to threaten a store clerk.

Colt Python

Dan carries what appears to be Colt Python with rubber grips as his sidearm when a uniform deputy. Sheriff Kelly (Larry Ferguson) also carries one judging by the grips. Larry Ferguson was the director for the film, mainly known for his screenwriting work.

Smith & Wesson Model 10HB

A Smith & Wesson Model 10HB.

Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB (heavy barrel) revolver (Post 1950s Model) - .38 Special. Later incarnations of the Model 10 had a non-tapered heavy barrel, which leads it to be commonly mistaken for a .357 revolver.

Heckler & Koch SP89 (mock MP5K)

Oatmeal (Dennis Burkley) uses an Heckler & Koch SP89 mocked up like an MP5K to shoot at cans.

A "faux" Heckler & Koch MP5K - this is an original SP89 pistol converted to full auto fire by a Class III armorer. Giveaways are the lack of a paddle magazine release. This version was also used in movies between 1989 and the late 1990s when factory original MP5Ks were not available - 9x19mm

Norinco Type 56-1

Dirt (Ed Adams) uses a Norinco Type 56-1 at Highside and Bubbles wedding. The same gun is seen in several other scenes as well.

AR15

Deputy Prescott (Rip Torn) uses an AR15 when Dan talks to Bogus Charlie. Dan checks one when buying arms undercover and purchases two from the Duster MC.

Colt Sporter II Carbine with 20 round magazine - 5.56x45mm. Colt model #R-6420. Colt still insisted on using the SP1 style lower receiver so any rifle that looks like this but has the ribbing around the magazine release button is not a Colt rifle. Variants of this rifle have both the round and tear drop forward assist buttons, however, most of the early years of production had the tear drop button, like this rifle in the photo.

A member of the Duster MC uses a Sawn off Double Barrel Shotgun to hold on Dan after he gives them a ride back into town.

Rossi Overland Short Barreled Shotgun - 12 Gauge

A Duster member holds a shotgun on Dan while Virgil tries to keep the other one from injecting Dan with heroin.
