Batwoman is the CW television series adaptation of the DC Comics superhero Batwoman, starring Ruby Rose as Kate Kane, a disgraced military cadet who discovers her cousin Bruce Wayne's secret identity as the vigilante Batman and subsequently takes his place, modifying the Batsuit and taking on the identity of Batwoman. The series premiered on the CW Network in 2019 and is part of the network's Arrowverse.
