Animation Runner Kuromi is a 40 minute anime OVA from Yumeta Co. studios that centers around Mikiko "Kuromi" Oguro and her first week working as a producer for an animation studio.

On several occasions, Kuromi mentions an anime called Luis Monde III (a fictional series and a clear homage to the long-running Lupin III franchise) that she watched in high school and how it inspired her to work in animation.
