Animal Kingdom is a 2010 crime drama set in Melbourne. Loosely based on the real-life story of the Pettingill family and the Walsh Street Shootings in which two police officers were murdered, Animal Kingdom is about 17 year old Joshua 'J' Cody (James Frecheville) who finds himself living with his grandmother 'Smurf' and her sons when his mother dies after overdosing on heroin, and is caught in the middle when tensions between the Cody family and the police explode.

The following weapons can be seen in the film Animal Kingdom:

Beretta 92F - 9x19mm. The cosmetic differences are very slight and hard to see between this gun and the newer 92FS. Most of the changes are the inner workings of the gun
Craig (Sullivan Stapleton) removes a Beretta 92F from his glove box to give to 'J'.
'J' (James Frecheville) looks at the Beretta in his hand.
Show him who's king. 'J', encouraged by Uncle Craig, holds the Beretta on a Lebanese thug.
An SOG officer points his (unloaded) Beretta at 'J' to scare him.

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is used by Police Officers in the Witness Protection Program.

A Generation 1 Glock 17 - 9x19mm
A Witness Protection Officer draws his Glock 17.
The Officers put down their Glocks in surrender.

Smith & Wesson Model 10

The standard issue weapon of the Victoria Police Force, the Smith & Wesson Model 10, is used by numerous Police Officers during the film. The Model 10 has since been replaced in service by the Smith & Wesson M&P.
