Andrew Garfield is a British actor best known for his roles as Peter Parker/Spider-man in 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man and 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, as well as Desmond Doss in 2016's Hacksaw Ridge, a role for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He also received an Academy Award nomination for his role in the 2021 film Tick, Tick... Boom!. He reprised his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the 2021 MCU film Spider-Man: No Way Home.
