And Soon the Darkness is an American remake of a British film of the same name made in the seventies. It is a thriller about two girls who go on a bike trip to Argentina, and one of the girls, Ellie (Odette Yustman), is kipnapped. Stephanie (Amber Heard), the other girl tries to search for her friend with the help of an American man (Karl Urban), who claims to have lost a person close to him down there.

The lone cop, Calvo (César Vianco) has a Beretta 92FS Inox in his holster. He uses it in the film, most notably to threaten the kidnapper. Michael (Karl Urban) later grabs the gun and uses it too.
