Pistols

Glock 19

Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) takes out a Glock 19 from under his coat to execute the kitten at the ATM, but is stopped by a random woman (Joyce R. Korbin). An enraged Patrick kills her, attracting attention of the police. During the chase, he shoots the police, exploding their car. After the massacre of the police, Bateman enters the office building and kills the security guard and the janitor.

Note: In the novel, Bateman uses a ".357 Magnum" kept in a holster, which he later attaches a suppressor to. Suppressors generally don't work on revolvers, as Bateman soon finds out, when he kills a homeless man with it and, not realizing the ineffectiveness of a suppressed revolver, the gunshot nearly deafens him.

2nd Generation Glock 19 - 9x19mm
Patrick takes out a gun and points it at the kitten.
Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) shoots a woman at an ATM.
When the police block his way, Bateman suddenly opens fire.
He looks down at his gun in surprise as both patrol cars explode after several shots. This most likely confirms that the shooting and massacre of New Yorkers did not actually happen, but only in Patrick's head.
After this Bateman enters the office and shoots a desk guard.
Having already left the building, he notices an janitor and returns to kill him too.
