American Ninja 2: The Confrontation is the 1987 action sequel to 1985's American Ninja. The movie was directed by Sam Firstenberg and in this sequel, Joe Armstrong (Michael Dudikoff) and Curtis Jackson (Steve James) are tasked with a mission to infiltrate a Caribbean island where several US Marines have gone missing. Steve James would return for the third film, 1989's American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt and would reunite with Dudikoff for the final film in the series, 1990's American Ninja 4: The Annihilation.

Handguns

CZ 75

In the final scene Sgt. Charlie McDonald (Larry Poindexter) is armed with a pistol that appears to be a CZ 75 of some early version.

Unidentified revolver

In the final scene "Wild Bill" Woodward (Jeff Celentano) carries a revolver in holster. Only the grip can be seen.

Submachine Guns

Kommando LDP

Submachine guns that are used by both Marines and The Lion's guards appear to be Kommando LDP, South African version of SA.23 submachine gun series (the movie was filmed in South Africa).

Submachine guns that appear to be early version of Armscor BXP (in late 80s it was manufactured by Mechem) are also used by The Lion's guards.

Armsel Protecta

In the final scene Curtis Jackson (Steve James) is armed with an Armsel Protecta. Protecta shotguns are also seen in hands of The Lion's guards.

In one scene Alicia Sanborn (Michelle Botes) carries a shotgun with pistol grip and extended magazine tube.

FN FAL rifles are seen in hands of both Marines and The Lion's guards. They are supposed to be South African R1s.

Unidentified machine gun

A machine gun is mounted on the jeep of The Lion's guards. It is seen only in darkness so it's hard to be identified. It can be a Browning M1919 or a Browning M2.

Other Weapons

Mk 2 hand grenade

In the final scene Curtis Jackson (Steve James) and several Marines, including "Wild Bill" Woodward (Jeff Celentano), use hand grenades, supposedly Mk 2.

Unknown gun

Some long gun is seen on the wall in "Wild Bill" Woodward apartments. It can be a shotgun or an antique musket (maybe a flintlock one).
