The following guns were used in the film American History X

Ruger P94

In a flashback, Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton) uses a Ruger P94 to shoot two black robbers who are trying to steal his car. He kills one, and wounds the other, but he kills the other robber by brutally curbstomping him just before the police arrive.

Glock 17

In a couple scenes, Seth (Ethan Suplee) can be seen with a Glock 17 on him which he most notably lays down on the bathroom sink in the Vinyard's home. Later on in the movie he uses it to threaten Derek (Edward Norton) at the party after Derek resigns from the neo nazi gang. However, Derek manages to take the gun from him, and uses it to threaten the gangmembers so he can get away from the party. Later on he unloads the gun, and discards the weapon in a dumpster while throwing the magazine in a trash can.

It's actually a Glock-20 or -21; the grip is too thick to be a 9mm or .40-caliber Glock. Another change made before the server crash which we lost.

Smith & Wesson Model 15

During the flashback scene were the skinheads are trashing Archie's Supermarket, one of the employees goes into the back of the store, and grabs a Smith & Wesson Model 15 revolver. But when he goes back into the store to try to resolve the sitution, he is hit in the face with a bat by Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton).

Beretta 92FS

Beretta 92FSs are seen several times during this film. First in the hands of the police officers who arrest Derek (Edward Norton), then by Little Henry (Jason Bose Smith) to shoot Danny Vinyard (Edward Furlong) in the school bathroom.
