All the Pretty Horses (2000)

All the Pretty Horses is a 2000 Western drama based on a novel by Cormac McCarthy (the author of No Country for Old Men). The film was directed by Billy Bob Thornton and starred Matt Damon, Penelope Cruz, Henry Thomas and Lucas Black.

The following weapons were used in the film All the Pretty Horses:

Single Action Army Bisley .32-20

As described in the novel, the Bisley Model of the Colt Single Action Army is carried by Jimmy Blevins (Lucas Black). Jimmy mentions that it's a ".32-20" and Lacey Rawlins (Henry Thomas) says that's a rifle cartridge. When asked where he got that gun, Jimmy says he got it "at the gittin' place" (a line also used in Cormac McCarthy's No Country for Old Men).

Lacey Rawlins (Henry Thomas) inspects the Bisley and mentions that the .32-20 is a rifle cartridge.

Single Action Army "Artillery"
