The following guns appear in the video game Alan Wake:

Colt Python

The Colt Python with 4" barrel is the first weapon in the game, called simply "Revolver". Holds six shots, 42 in total.

Orion Flare Gun

The Orion Flare Gun is the BFG of the game. Can set multiple possessed enemies on fire. Usually found only in hidden chests. The ammo limit is ten flares.

Orion Flare Gun - 12 Gauge

Alan finds the flare gun during the first nightmare segment of the game.

Alan points the Orion flare gun at a Taken.

Alan fires his flare gun near the end of Chapter 2.

An Orion flare gun and what is supposed to be ammo for it in a hidden chest. The real 12 Gauge flares the Orion uses are about three times shorter.

Over/Under Shotgun

The Double Barreled Over/Under Shotgun appears in the game simply as "Shotgun". It is much more powerful than the Python, but its range is limited and ammo for it is very rare.

Alan finds an Over/Under shotgun and some ammo at the logging site.

Winchester 1300

A Winchester 1300 is seen in the "Building the Thriller" trailer. The ejection port resembles a Winchester 1300. Called "pump action shotgun" in-game. Holds a maximum of 8 shells, 32 in reserve.

Remington Model Seven CDL

The Remington Model Seven CDL is known as "Hunting Rifle" in the game. Judging by the 5-round capacity, it is chambered in .17 Remington Fireball. This is the most powerful weapon in the game next to the Orion flare gun. Ammo is scarce.

Alan discovers the first hunting rifle during Chapter 2: Taken.

Alan finds another hunting rifle in a cabin at the ghost town.

Alan prepares to fire the Model Seven CDL at a pack of darkness-infested birds. These are really angry birds.

Model 7290 Flashbang Grenade

Model 7290 Flashbangs are first found in Chapter 3 "Ransom", when the police chase Alan into the woods. Has a similar effect as the Orion flare gun; kills weaker Taken, damages larger ones. If a thrown flashbang hits a Taken, it will explode on impact. It is worth noting that the nomenclature on the in-game flashbangs reads "M7920" instead of the correct "7290", probably to avoid licensing issues. Also, they have a blue body, like the Model 7290T (training version of the Model 7290).

Alan discovers two M7290 Flasbang Grenades inside an old train cabin. Note the dark blue-ish body.

Alan throws a flashbang when a possessed police officer tries to "apprehend" him with an axe.
