Agatha Christie's Miss Marple is a BBC TV series based on the novels by Agatha Christie, starring Joan Hickson as Miss Jane Marple. It was aired from 1984 to 1992 and consists of 12 episodes, each based on one novel: The Body in the Library (1984), The Moving Finger, A Murder is Announced, A Pocket Full of Rye (1985), The Murder at the Vicarage (1986), Sleeping Murder, At Bertram's Hotel, Nemesis, 4.50 From Paddington (1987), A Caribbean Mystery (1989), They Do It with Mirrors (1991) and The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side (1992).

Revolvers

Webley .38 Mk IV

In the final scene in "The Body in the Library" Detective Inspector Slack (David Horovitch) and Detective Sergeant Lake (Ian Brimble) are armed with Webley .38 Mk IV revolvers. Slack also gives a Webley revolver to Conway Jefferson (Andrew Cruickshank) for self-defence against the supposed murderer.

Webley .38 Mk IV "Pocket" model

A Webley .38 Mk IV "Pocket" model is used by Detective Inspector Slack (David Horovitch) in the climactic scene in "The Murder at the Vicarage". In the same scene Detective Sergeant Lake (Ian Brimble) holds a short-barreled revolver that is supposedly also a Mk IV "Pocket", possibly same prop reused.
