Agatha Christie's Marple is a British ITV TV series based on the novels by Agatha Christie, starring Geraldine McEwan (Seasons 1-3) and Julia McKenzie (Seasons 4-6) as Miss Jane Marple. It was aired from 2004 to 2013 and consists of 23 feature-length episodes.
Note: for 1984-1992 BBC TV series with Joan Hickson as Miss Marple see Agatha Christie's Miss Marple.
The following weapons were used in the television series Agatha Christie's Marple:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS!!
Revolvers
Webley .38 Mk IV
Webley .38 Mk IV revolvers are seen in hands of Ladislaus Malinowski (Ed Stoppard) in "At Bertram's Hotel" (S03E01), Bobby Argyle (Tom Riley) in "Ordeal by Innocence" (S03E02), and Nat Fletcher (Sam Reid) in "Greenshaw's Folly" (S06E02).
Webley .38 Mk III
Tim Kendall (Robert Webb) owns a Webley .38 Mk III in "A Caribbean Mystery" (S06E01).
Webley .455 Mk VI
In the climactic scene in "Why Didn't They Ask Evans?" (S04E04) butler Wilson (Richard Briers) is armed with a Webley .455 Mk VI revolver. Then the revolver is taken by Tom Savage (Freddie Fox).
Enfield No.2
In the scene in theater in "Greenshaw's Folly" (S06E02), a stagehand uses an Enfield No.2 revolver to make a gunshot behind the scenes when stage actor Nat Fletcher "fires" his Webley revolver on scene.
Toy cap revolver
In a flashback scene in "The Sittaford Mystery" (S02E04), set in 1927, Clive Trevelyan (Timothy Dalton) kills his companion Prof. Percehouse in archeologist expedition in Egypt. His revolver looks like some top-break model with nickel finish but due to a large flash from the hammer the gun can be identified as a kind of toy cap gun. It is used probably because the gunshot is made point-blank to the actor.
Unidentified revolver
Edgar Lawson (Tom Payne) holds a nickel plated top-break revolver in "They Do It with Mirrors" (S04E03). Generally this gun looks similar to Smith & Wesson or Iver Johnson guns but it has different hinge and a very long extractor shroud under the barrel, similar to Smith & Wesson Model 3 but uncommon for compact top-break revolvers.
Pistols
Walther P38
A suppressed Walther P38 is a murder weapon in "The Murder at the Vicarage" (S01E02).
Luger P08
A Luger P08 is a murder weapon in "A Murder Is Announced" (S01E04).
Walther PPK
Bess Sedgwick (Polly Walker) owns a nickel plated Walther PPK in "At Bertram's Hotel" (S03E01). The pistol is also seen in hands of Elvira Blake (Emily Beecham), Brigit Milford (Mary Nighy) and DI Larry Bird (Stephen Mangan). An ordinary Walther PPK is seen in the murder scene in "The Secret of Chimneys" (S05E02).
Beretta M1934
Emily Trefusis (Zoe Telford) owns a nickel plated Beretta M1934 with pearl grips in "The Sittaford Mystery" (S02E04). During the forensic experiment and in the depiction of the murder in "The Secret of Chimneys" (S05E02), Walther PPK (see above) is replaced with Beretta M1934 due to a continuity error. The pistol has threaded barrel and is seen with and without sound suppressor.
Unidentified pistol
A hammerless pistol is briefly held by Ausgustin Dufosse (Herbert Lom) in "The Murder at the Vicarage" (S01E02). Only a part of the slide and the grip can be seen.
Rifles and Muskets
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III
In the flashback scene in "The Murder at the Vicarage" (S01E02), set in December 1915, British soldiers carry Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III rifles.
Sporterized Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III
A Sporterized Lee-Enfield rifle with sniper scope is used in "At Bertram's Hotel" (S03E01). The position of the ajustable front sight allows to identify the base rifle as Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III.
Pattern 1914 Enfield
A British soldier holds a Pattern 1914 Enfield rifle in flashback scene, set in 1940, in "Nemesis" (S03E04).
Charleville Musket
In the opening scene in "The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side" (S05E04) Miss Marple watches a movie about the life of Marie Antoinette (black bars on screenshots are frames of this "movie in movie"). In the scene when French Republicans break in Queen's apartments, they are armed with flintlock Charleville Muskets.
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
A Double Barreled Shotgun is used by Lawrence Redding (Jason Flemyng) in "The Murder at the Vicarage" (S01E02) to make a fake gunshot. Alfred Pollock (Martin Compston) carries a double barreled shotgun in "Greenshaw's Folly" (S06E02).
Trivia
A Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress is seen in "By the Pricking of My Thumbs" (S02E03). According to our colleagues from IMPDB, the plane is a radio controlled scale model.
