Originally developed in the mid/late 80's as a riot control projectile launcher the Arwen 37 often doubles as an explosive launcher in more than a few films and has a place in sci-fi due to its' futuristic look.
The Arwen 37 launcher can be seen in the following films and anime used by the following actors:
