AB-46 (Автомат Булкина-46; Avtomat Bulkina-46) is a Soviet experemental Assault rifle (Avtomat is the Soviet/Russian word for Assault rifle), designed by Alexey Alexeevich Bulkin. It was one of the earliest Soviet Assault rifles. AB-46 loose the general concurse against Kalashnikov Assault rifle and reamains only as prototype.
