The following weapons were used in Season 3 of the television series The A-Team:

Pistols

Browning Hi-Power

The Browning Hi-Power is one of the handguns frequently used by Col. John "Hannibal" Smith (George Peppard), notably in Season 1's "Black Day at Bad Rock". During Season 3, it becomes H. M. Murdock's (Dwight Schultz) sidearm of choice.

Colt M1911

The M1911 and many variants are carried at various times by A-Team members, U.S. Military Police pursuing the A-Team, and various bad guys. A nickel plated version is seen through Seasons 4 and 5.

Submachine Guns & Semi-Auto Carbines

Thompson Submachine Gun

Used in the two-parters "Judgement Day" and "Mexican Slayride". In "The Out-Of-Towners" a thug can be seen firing a Thompson M1928A1 with a drum magazine. As a nice gag, Hannibal is hanging onto a 1930's car with a Thompson with drum magazine and fires on a mafia boss in Season 4's "The Little Town with an Accent".

HK94A3

The A3 model of the Heckler & Koch HK94 are featured throughout the series. They appear to have the early "Slimline" forearms featured on older versions of the MP5.

A Smith & Wesson 76 makes a brief appearance during "The Rabbit Who Ate Las Vegas".

MAC-10

The MAC-10 appears notably when Hannibal (George Peppard) discovers it in a weapons cache inside a limo - complete with what appears to be a SIONICS suppressor.

In the Episode "When You Comin' Back, Range Rider?", a MAC-10 is used by Col. Roderick Decker (Lance LeGault) for target practice. It should be noted that Lance LeGault barely ever flinches when firing a weapon in the series.
Hannibal (George Peppard) discovers a suppressed MAC-10 under a seat in the main villains limousine. He correctly refers to it as an "Ingram".

Micro Uzi

The Micro Uzi is used throughout the series by both the A-Team and bad guys.

MP40

One of Borofsky's men can be seen with a MP40 in Season 5's "The Say U.N.C.L.E. Affair". It appears to be plastic prop, since it has a filled in front sight and the barrel is visibly bent.

(Mock-up) Uzi

A MAC-10 mocked up to look like an Uzi with fake Uzi furniture mounted on the barrel and receiver can be seen being used by Murdock (Dwight Schultz). These same Uzi mock-ups can be seen in Raw Deal, The Dogs of War, and also Stripes (they were all built by a company called Special Effects Unlimited, which provided the weapons used in the first two seasons of this show).

Murdock (Dwight Schultz) blasting away at a group of bad guys. Note that he is wearing the ear muffs so the bullet hits on the barrel he is hiding in won't blow his eardrums when he is taking cover. They also show the barrel being lined with 1/4 inch steel sheeting, which explains it being bullet-proof.

Uzi Carbine

The Uzi Carbine was also a favourite weapon of bad guys on the show, and also used by members of the A-Team in some episodes.

Rifles

Ruger Mini 14 Stainless version with Folding stock

When the show began its full run in 1984, the producers decided not to have the team use different weapons every week, primarily due to budget concerns. Beginning with its second season, the A-Team favored the Ruger Mini-14 with a factory folding stock in Stainless steel. Contrary to popular belief, these were not the fully automatic Ruger AC556 rifles, but the Semi auto only Ruger Mini 14 with folding stocks. Close examination of the show reveals that the actors are pulling the triggers quickly and only a few spent brass casing as flying out, despite the sound effects of full auto fire. Also the cuts in editing, showing bullet squibs and 'dust hits' against the ground and buildings, created the illusion of full auto firing Ruger rifles. Since Americans had not yet been exposed to 'assault weapon bans' being that this was the mid 1980s, the title 1 classified Ruger rifles were easy to transport across state and local lines with no paperwork hassles. The rifles were actually purchased for the show and were kept on permanent storage in the show's props containers during the show's run.

Templeton Peck (Dirk Benedict) charges his Ruger Mini-14 in "The Bells Of St. Mary's", Season 3. Notice that this rifle lacks a selector switch, proving that it is a semi-automatic Mini-14 and NOT, contrary to popular-belief, the select-fire AC556.

Hannibal Smith (George Peppard) holds his Ruger Mini-14 in "Timber!", Season 3. Note the folding stock unfolded, rare scene in the show.

Armalite AR-18

The main villain in "The Only Church In Town" is armed with an Armalite AR-18. It can also be seen in "Recipe For Heavy Bread". This weapon, along with the older Armalite AR-10, were often used as stand-ins for the more expensive M16 in television shows and movies.

AKM

AKMs can be seen during the Season 4 finale "The Sound Of Thunder", used by North Vietnamese ground troops and throughout Season 5.

Norinco Type 56

In addition to AKMs, many Norinco Type 56 rifles were used. Most can be seen with slanted compensators.

Daewoo K2

The Daewoo K2 is used in numerous episodes, notably by Murdock (Dwight Schultz) in Season 4's "Wheel of Fortune".

FN FAL

Seen in the Season 4 opener "Judgement Day Part 2" used by the Italian boarding crew sent to save the passengers of the hijacked cruise ship. In reality no part of the Italian Armed Forces ever used the FN FAL. It could be that the armorer had trouble acquiring the civilian version of the Beretta BM59 at the time of filming. Note that the model used on the show features a rear flip-up sight.

Heckler & Koch HK91A2

The Heckler & Koch HK91A2 is used mostly by bad guys during later seasons of The A-team. One notable instance is when Hannibal uses a scoped Heckler & Koch HK91A2 during "The Grey Team", Season 5.

M16/SP1

The M16/SP1 is probably the most high-profile firearm in the first 4 seasons, being used by bad guys and members of the A-Team on dozens of occasions. Most of the M16 SP1s used on the show have been fitted with M16A1 flash hiders, in order to stand in for the newer rifle (though some genuine M16A1s also appeared on the show).

During the Season 4 finale "The Sound Of Thunder", Hannibal (George Peppard) can be seen pulling a M16/SP1 with the same mock-up M203 from Murdock's (Dwight Schultz) bag. It makes a brief reappearance in the Season 5 episode "The Crystal Skull".

Machine Guns

M60

The M60 was the regular squad support weapon in the series, always used by Hannibal Smith (George Peppard) and rarely by B.A. Baracus (Mr. T) even though he would have been the obvious choice but was more often relegated to using a nickel plated Star Model BM with ivory grips.
