In Day 7 of 24, Jack Bauer, after being brought back to Washington D.C. (following the events of 24: Redemption) to testify about his involvement in the use of torture on suspects, is asked by the FBI to assist in the capture of the terrorists who threaten to take down the computer infrastructure of the United States.

TRIVIA: There were only two H&K USP Compacts used by Kiefer Sutherland through the entire run of the series. This was because Kiefer was a method actor and did not like to change props.
