Set four years after the events of Day 8, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), still on the run from the US government, finds himself again in the middle of a potential terrorist event, this time in London when he gets wind of a plot to assassinate President James Heller (William Devane), who has traveled to England for a peace summit. Trying to dodge the CIA who want him for treason, Jack must survive what could be the most difficult day in his life. Unlike the previous seasons, Live Another Day only consists of 12 episodes, but will take place within the span of 24 hours in this day. The limited series premiered in the US in May of 2014.
