24: Legacy is an upcoming 'soft reboot'/Spinoff of the 24 franchise, wherein it follows the previous series' but does not follow any of the previous storylines, none of the original stars are set to return. Corey Hawkins stars as Eric Carter a Ex-Army ranger who has returned home after conducting an assault on the base of Terrorist Ibrahim Bin Khalid under the orders of, now former, CTU director Rebecca Ingram (Miranda Otto). who must once again work together to foil a terrorist attack on American soil.
