24: Legacy is the 2017 limited series continuation of the 24 franchise. Corey Hawkins stars as Eric Carter, a former Army Ranger who has returned home after conducting an assault on the base of Terrorist Ibrahim Bin Khalid under the orders of, now former, CTU director Rebecca Ingram (Miranda Otto). When members of his team are found eliminated, Carter and Ingram once again work together to find out who is behind the killings and foil a terrorist attack on American soil. This series, which like Live Another Day, only covers 12 hours instead of the full 24 hours of a single day, and will feature some connections to the previous series, as Carlos Bernard is set to reprise his role as Tony Almeida and Kiefer Sutherland is set to return as executive producer. The series premiered after the Super Bowl LI in February of 2017.
