21 Jump Street is the 2012 feature film adaptation of the Johnny Depp-starring television series of the same name starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, with Brie Larson, Dave Franco, Rob Riggle and Ice Cube. Unlike the original series, this was more of a comedy, and was the first live-action film directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.) Contrary to popular belief, the film is not a remake or a reimagining, but is rather a continuation of the original series, which allowed Johnny Depp, Peter DeLuise and Holly Robinson Peete briefly reprise their roles from the original series.
