A.W.O.L is a Free Arcade tactical shooter hybrid made in the "Build engine" that has powered games like Duke Nukem, Shadow warrior and Blood, it started out as "Project AWOL" in 2002 as a Mod but got canceled in 2005, but it got Revived in 2022 as "A.W.O.L"
The Game takes place in a Comic inspired world where you play as Dwayne Allen, a discharged special forces soldier, as he joins his former squad in order to find their missing C.O, Game play has mechanics like leaning, bandage system and simple squad mechanics

The M9 Appears as the only handgun in game, it is the weakest ranged weapon and uses "pistol" ammo in game, it is quickly replaced by the MP5 in game, it 2–3 shots to the head and 4–5 shots to the body
