The Keeper is a 2009 action movie directed by Keoni Waxman and starring Steven Seagal as Roland Sallinger, a retired LAPD detective who agrees to help his old friend, whose daughter is in danger.

The inscription on the barrel is seen but it is difficult to read. The first letter is "C" which matches the "Charter Arms" on the right side of the barrel.

Smith & Wesson Model 581
In the final scene Conner Wells (Steph DuVall) uses a revolver that resembles Smith & Wesson Model 581.
