Talk:The Walking Dead - Season 7
Please help ID
Please help ID Savior's rifles. --FARID (talk) 13:30, 21 November 2016 (EDT)
- There is a full shot of the rifle when Simon is hitching up his trousers just after this shot, and in that it appears to be the same rifle that Glenn used last season as it lacks a rear sight and has a receiver rail. Not 100% sure this is a G3A3 though as can't see the mag release in either of these appearances. --commando552 (talk) 16:53, 21 November 2016 (EST)
Thanks, Commando552, for help. What is your opinion about few AR-15 build rifles in that episode? I can't identify them, could that be just custom AR-15? --FARID (talk) 07:05, 21 November 2016 (EST)
Screenshots question
If I have screenshots that has the AMC watermark, do I crop it? Just curious.
- You might as well as just put it up, because it will probably get replaced anyway. But it's best to find a source that doesn't have the watermark. Please remember to sign your posts. --Ben41 (talk) 14:46, 1 November 2016 (EDT)
AR sniper
I can't really tell from that screencap, but to me the AR carried by Alvaro looks like a 308. My guess would be a DPMS Recon:
The handguard, flash hider, gas block and stainless barrel all seem to match. --commando552 (talk) 16:16, 1 November 2016 (EDT)
Still no Body armor
Still kinda boggies my mind that this far into the show and no body wears body armor against asshole survivors or carry rigs to hold mags or anything resembling tactical gear. You would think there would be enough dead cops and soldiers for survivors to get smart about that. And I'm talking about actual plate carriers and vests, not sports gear, though it's a step up from nothing Excalibur01 (talk) 11:57, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
- I'm with you, bothered me for a while, also why hasn't, at least someone, made metal wrist guards so they can easily defend against zombie bites, a lightweight thin metal would protect them without weighing them down too much, no need to whip out a weapon real quick, just throw your arm in the way, boom, zombies biting metal, gives you time to pull out your knife and stab that piece of rotting filth. --RedRobinAlpha (talk) 17:22, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
Additional
SIG P226 Combat
It's not a Combat, it's just a regular P226 with a threaded barrel. First, because the Combat models are only produced with FDE frames (the example pic is a MK25, not a Combat). And second, when viewed at full resolution, you can see the gun in the screencap has no accessory rail. Spartan198 (talk) 00:12, 7 November 2016 (EST)
My mistake and taking a closer look, the gun does have a accessory rail. I'mallaboutguns.1 (talk)
Rosita's Custom Beretta
Custom made Beretta 92FS?-- -Thestormjamieson (talk) 01:56, 14 November 2016 (CST)
- Looks like it, reminds me of Wesker's Beretta from Resident Evil Remake and 5, and it's beautiful! --RedRobinAlpha (talk) 10:33, 14 November 2016 (EST)
- I found a image of the gun on google images, so I say Inox frame with normal side, wood grips, custom stainless hammer and barrel with adjustable sight?-- -Thestormjamieson (talk) 04:47, 15 November 2016 (CST)
Where's the Blaser?
Where is the Blaser in episode 4? I only went through the episode quickly. --Ben41 (talk) 11:23, 15 November 2016 (EST)
Sorry, I confused it with another rifle, but R93 appears in "Go Getters" (S7E05). --FARID (talk) 12:26, 15 November 2016 (EST)
- Assuming that we are talking about the same rifle, that isn't a Blaser. It is something in a Choate Super Sniper Stock, like this Rem 700:--commando552 (talk) 12:50, 15 November 2016 (EST)
I'm talking about that rifle.
--FARID (talk) 12:58, 15 November 2016 (EST)
- That's a rifle in a Choate Super Sniper Stock, not a Blaser. If you look at the front you can see that the barrel comes out of the stock as opposed to on the Blaser where the barrel free floats above it. Also, there are no vents on the front of a Blaser stock, and on this rifle you can see where it steps in behind the "wedge" part at the front onto a textured panel. Without seeing to back of the gun it impossible to see what action is inside, I would guess it is a Remington as this seems to be the most common rifle that appears with this stock in media. --commando552 (talk) 13:17, 15 November 2016 (EST)
