The Gendarme Gets Married (original title Le gendarme se marie) is a 1968 French comedy directed by Jean Girault and starring Louis de Funès as Ludovic Cruchot, the sergeant of French gendarmerie. This is the third movie about the adventures of Cruchot, started by The Gendarme of St. Tropez.

In the final scene Frédo the Butcher (Mario David) is armed with a Luger P08.

MAT-49 SMGs can be seen in the weapons cache in gendarmerie office and in hands of gendarmes in the final scene.
Weapons cache
Several various firearms can be seen in the weapons cache in gendarmerie office. They are seen blurry but some conclusions can be made. Two short guns (red 1) resemble Smith & Wesson 276 Gas Guns while three long guns (red 2) are supposed to be MAS-49 rifles.
