The following firearms were used in AMC's Hell On Wheels:

Hell On Wheels (2011)

Former Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) carries a Confederate-made Gunnison & Griswold revolver, by which he is recognised in Episode 1.

Gunnision & Griswold revolver - .36 Percussion.

Bohannon holds his Gunnison & Griswold after mudering a Union soldier who raped his wife.

Bohannon covers his Gunnison & Griswold with his coat after it's recognized by Daniel Johnson.

During the openning credits sequence, Bohannon is seen with a Colt 1860 Army instead of his usual Gunnison & Griswold.

Colt 1860 Army - .44 Percussion.

Bohannon holds a Colt 1860 in the openning credits.

Former Union soldier Daniel Johnson (Ted Levine) carries a Remington 1858 New Army in Episode 1.

Remington 1858 New Model Army - .44 Percussion

"That is my Remington pointed at your gut."
