Joko Anwar's Nightmares and Daydreams (or simply Nightmares and Daydreams) is a 2024 Indonesian anthology horror and science-fiction series created by the filmmaker Joko Anwar. The series consisted of seven episodes, each with its own unique stories that were intertwined with each others.

Handguns

Smith & Wesson Model 36 (air gun replica)

In "The Encounter" (Ep. 4), the government officials' bodyguard (Muhammad Yazid) carry what appears to be RCF M36, a Taiwanese .177 air gun replica of the Smith & Wesson Model 36. The gun is later acquired by Rusman (T. Rifnu Wikana) and he used it throughout the episode.

The bewildered bodyguard (Muhammad Yazid) looks at his gun, later he successfully fired the gun into the air. Trivia: the official holding the pink file folder is Joko Anwar, the series' creator.

After grabbing the gun from the Ustad, Rusman (T. Rifnu Wikana) pointed the gun at Wahyu.

As we can see, the gun's cylinders are empty. Also note the small barrel, indicating it to be a .177 air gun.
