The Good Soldier Schweik (Dobrý voják Švejk) is a 1957 Czechoslovak comedy movie, a screen adaptation of the famous Czech novel by Jaroslav Hašek, directed by Karel Steklý and starring Rudolf Hrusínský. The movie is based on the first part of Hašek's book; second, third and fourth parts are adapted into I Dutifully Report (Poslušne hlásím), released in 1958.

Rast-Gasser M1898
The opening scene depicts the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in Sarajevo. Gavrilo Princip (uncredited) is shown firing a Rast-Gasser M1898 revolver (in reality he used an FN Model 1910).

A pair of Flintlock Pistols are used as a decoration in Oberleutnant Lukáš' apartments.
