If this were a 4506, 4566, 4006 or 5906, the frame would be similar in color and reflection as the stainless slide. In addition, the bore is much too small to be a .45 ACP or 40S&W. The conclusion is that the CHP officer is holding a 5903. In reality, the CHP carry the S&W 4006TSW but this prop gun was probably close enough for the producers.
