The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series The Man in the High Castle:
Pistols
Nambu Type 14
Kempeitai officers and soldiers continue to carry the Nambu Type 14 as their main sidearm. Frank Frink (Rupert Evans) picks up and uses a discarded Type 14 in "Travelers".
Walther P38
Members of the SS, including Obergruppenführer John Smith (Rufus Sewell) carry the Walther P38 as their sidearm. The weapon is also seen in various alternate reality propaganda newsreels in the hands of German and Allied soldiers.
Browning Hi-Power
Gary Connell (Callum Keith Rennie) carries a Browning Hi-Power as his sidearm.
Luger P08
Lemuel Washington (Rick Worthy) continues to carry a Luger P08 as his sidearm.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
GNR Military Police and SS soldiers carry the Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns with curved magazines and slim forearms as their primary weapons. In the alternative timeline of the show, it can be assumed they were designed and built at least four years ahead of time, phasing out the MP40 out of service. Its bigger older brother, the Heckler & Koch G3, is relatively unchanged in its place in this alternate timeline.
Rifles
Arisaka Type 38
Arisaka Type 38 rifles are used by Kempeitai and Imperial Japanese Army soldiers as their main battle rifle.
Karabiner 98k
Ceremonial guards outside the Reichsminister's residence in Berlin are armed with Karabiner 98k rifles.
