The following weapons were used in Season 5 of the television series Person of Interest:
Pistols
SIG-Sauer P226R
The SIG-Sauer P226R makes a return in Season 5 as the weapon of choice for John Reese (Jim Caviezel). Reese uses the weapon until it runs dry in Season 5's premiere "B.S.O.D" (S5E01). The SIG-Sauer P226R also appears as the sidearm of Samaritan agents and John Greer (John Nolan) throughout the season. In "B.S.O.D" (S5E01), Samaritan agents use it with suppressors while chasing Reese through the streets of New York. John Reese (Jim Caviezel) acquires the weapon after being attacked at the ferry in the very same episode. Root (Amy Acker) picks up the drop pistol in a fire fight with Samaritan agents in Bela's warehouse. A couple of hired gunmen use P226Rs in "A More Perfect Union" (S5E06). The pistol is also used by Shaw in several computer simulations in "6,741" (S5E04) and then when confronting Root in "Sotto Voce" (S5E09).
In "SNAFU" (S5E02), the SIG-Sauer P226 Navy appears to be the pistol used by Reese.
SIG-Sauer P226
A SIG-Sauer P226 is used by Hospital Administrator Garcia (Mark H. Dold) and Paulie (John Mondin) in "Reassortment" (S5E08).
SIG-Sauer P228R
A SIG-Sauer P228R is used by Sameen Shaw (Sarah Shahi) near the end of "6,741" (S5E04).
SIG-Sauer P250
What appears to be a suppressed SIG-Sauer P250 compact is used by Kara Stanton (Annie Parisse) in a flashback in "Truth Be Told" (S5E03).
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
A nickel Desert Eagle Mark XIX is used by one of Elias' men in "The Day the World Went Away" (S5E10).
Heckler & Koch VP70
In "Reassortment" (S5E08), Shaw is given a Heckler & Koch VP70 during her escape from a South African prison.
CZ-75B
In "SNAFU" (S5E02), a CZ-75B appears to be the pistol pulled by a gangster.
Glock 17
Detective Lionel Fusco (Kevin Chapman) carries a Glock 17 as his sidearm. As mentioned in previous seasons, the approved onduty sidearm for the NYPD is the Glock 19. In "B.S.O.D" (S5E01), the handgun is seen in flashbacks in the hands of Dominic and Fusco prior as "The Correction" took place in the Season 4 Finale. The Glock is used by CIA operatives including Terrence Beale (Keith David) in "Truth Be Told" (S5E03).
Ruger 22/45 "Lite"
In "Shotseeker" (S5E05), the pistol used by Ethan Garvin appears to be a modified Ruger 22/45 "Lite".
Smith & Wesson M&P
Root carries a Smith & Wesson M&P when searching for Reese in "ShotSeeker" (S5E05).
Smith & Wesson M&P Compact
Root dual-wields what appears to be a Smith & Wesson M&P Compact pistol along with the regular M&P in "The Day the World Went Away" (S5E10).
Smith & Wesson 5946
A Smith & Wesson 5946 is pulled by one of Bruce's guards in "Shotseeker" (S5E05).
Walther PPK (Stainless)
A stainless Walther PPK is used by Carl Elias in "Reassortment" (S5E08) and "Sotto Voice" (S5E09).
Walther P99
In "SNAFU" (S5E02), the Walther P99 is carried by the assassin who was identified as "Laurie Granger". In "Reassortment" (S5E08), a gangster pulls a P99 on Reese before being knocked out by a hospital security guard.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with a Surefire forend weaponlight is seen in the hands of Shaw during a firefight with Samaritan operatives in "The Day The World Went Away" (S5E10).
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
The assassin hired by the Machine pulls a Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW in an attempt to kill Reese in "SNAFU" (S5E02). In "Reassortment" (S5E08), Shaw (Sarah Shahi) uses a suppressed MP5K-PDW in a flashback to a mission in Berlin that was seen Season 2's "Relevance" (S2E16).
Coharie Arms MP-10
In "6,741" (S5E04), Reese appears to carry a Coharie Arms MP-10 during the ambush to capture Greer.
CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1
In the Season 5 premiere "B.S.O.D" (S5E01), some gangsters are armed with CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1 submachine guns.
Rifles/Carbines
AKS-74U
In the Season 5 premiere "B.S.O.D" (S5E01), Root (Amy Acker) is seen with an AKS-74U when a team of Samaritan agents ram her car.
Heckler & Koch HK51
In the Season 5 premiere "B.S.O.D" (S5E01), some gangsters are armed with what appear to be Heckler & Koch HK51 compact rifles with the stocks removed and replaced with a sling point.
Colt M4A1
M4A1 Carbines are carried by Samaritan agents and ESU officers throughout the season. An M4 is another one of the weapons Reese takes out from the safehouse in in "The Day The World Went Away" (S5E10).
Colt Model 933
Some ESU officers appear to be armed with the Colt Model 933 in "Sotto Voce" (S5E09).
Noveske N4 Diplomat
The Noveske N4 Diplomat is used by gangsters who confront Root in "B.S.O.D" (S5E01).
SIG SG 552
The SIG SG 552 is one of the weapons Reese takes out from the safehouse in "The Day The World Went Away" (S5E10). Reese later points it at Fusco when he tries to enter the safehouse.

Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout
The Stealth Recon Scout (SRS) is seen in the hands of both Finch and Root during the car chase in "The Day The World Went Away" (S5E10). Based on the barrel length, it is correctly referred to as a ".338" but when fired it oddly fires in semi automatic without the bolt being pulled back.
DRD Tactical M762
Jeff Blackwell (Joshua Close) uses what appears to be a DRD Tactical M762 as a short-range sniper rifle to take a shot at Root and Finch's car in "The Day The World Went Away" (S5E10).
Machine Guns
M249 SAW
The M249 SAW appears to be used by a gangster in "B.S.O.D" (S5E01). The SAW is also used by Reese in "Truth Be Told" (S5E03).
FN MAG
In "The Day The World Went Away" (S5E10), one of Samaritan's agents opens fire with an FN MAG.
Dillon Aero M134 Minigun
In "The Day The World Went Away" (S5E10), one of Samaritan's agents opens fire on Root and Finch with an SUV-mounted Dillon Aero M134 Minigun.
Grenades
Model 7290 Flashbang
A Model 7290 Flashbang was used by Finch during a heist in "SNAFU" (S5E02).
