IMO, the guns in [Prototype] are very unrealistic (as far as their ammo goes) but they can surely be identified as real-life weapons. Like I said on your talk page, I can ID the following weapons: M4 with vertical foregrip, a Glock of some kind, a Javelin missile launcher, the Milkor MGL v2.0, the M249 SAW and the Desert Eagle. Of these, the Glock is held by policemen in the beginning of the game, but is dropped by the policeman only when killed through melee violence (if you absorb him he will not drop it, nor will your form have a holster of any kind) and cannot be picked up in any way. Neither can the Desert Eagle, because you only see it used by General Randall in cutscenes.

Wow, really nice of you to mouth me off like that >:-( And FYI, I only just noticed because I never looked for it before. I never had an account here and now that I had one I thought I might make the page. Nevertheless, I decided to ask first. I didn't ask to be made fun of, thank you very much. And I didn't say that was the reason, the only thing is that if you leave the 'noeffort' thing in, the site immediately puts a very big banner there about the lack of effort and omits a lot of text.

Fair enough. I was a little agitated at the time I wrote that, so I may have overreacted. I will try to make the Prototype page as good as possible, but as I'm on a Xbox360 taking screenies is a no-go. I'll have to snatch those from other sources or request somebody with a PS3 or PC take the screenshots.

I'll mail Activision first, then create the page. Again, sorry.

Give me more information

Did you do this work that was deleted as an anonymous user? Because I have no recollection of it. Are are you confusing me with another Mod? give me the details as to what page was deleted and what was on it that apparently cause a mod to delete it. Thanks MoviePropMaster2008 21:30, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

Here, I looked it up for you:

"22:38, 28 November 2009 MoviePropMaster2008 (Talk | contribs) deleted "Prototype" ‎Category:Video Game The guns in this game are small but can be up graded to alter the power and clip size but are to distorted to accurately tell what they are. == M4 == It is carried by Marines and BLACKWATCH members ...')"

--SJ Commander 20:03, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

I am not concerned WHY you didn't notice it until now. But you should include that in your original query. You notice that multiple times I have to ASK you for more information to figure out what specifically you are talking about? That is really annoying. If you are bringing up OLD business, identify it as such so people don't go wasting their time looking around all of IMFDB for it. Also you wrote, and I am directly quoting here "you deleted the last one because, and I quote, "The guns are distorted". Those are your words. Sounds like you forgot what you wrote. The net is a tricky place. EVERY unclear post sounds hostile. Again, the reason why pages are deleted is that they are not up to IMFDB standards, i.e. no screencaps or really bad ones.
