It is the first bolt-action pistol that isn't a chopped down rifle, like the earlier added [[Mosin_Nagant_sawn-off_"obrez"|Mosin Obrez]]. This video game depiction of the Welrod is one of the few to accurately depict its use of replaceable wipes that degrade over time. This is reflected both in the change of firing sound (First shot on a fresh set of wipes is totally silent apart from the firing pin; after a few shots the sound is more or less as loud as a normal suppressed pistol) and the change in the model for the baffles.
