In this remake of a 1943 classic starring James Belushi the following guns were used.

Thompson M1928A1
Thompson M1928A1 submachine guns are used by the Allied troops.

Interestingly, the Thompson M1928 is also used in the movie. Not very frequent in war movies, this submachine gun gained its notoriety through gangster movies (Usual 50-round drum here was, of course, replaced by a 20-round stock magazine).
Browning M1919
Removed from the tank, a Browning M1919 contributes a lot in the fight against the Germans. While, mostly used by Tambul (Robert Wisdom), it is later picked by Sgt. Gunn.
