Sound of the Sky (Sora No Woto) is a Japanese anime television series produced by A-1 Pictures and Aniplex and directed by Mamoru Kanbe. The anime began airing in Japan on the TV Tokyo television network on January 5, 2010 and was released on DVD in the US by RightStuf International in 2011.

Kanata and Kureha are seen with the Karabiner 98k rifles during exercises and patrols. It is the service rifle of the Helvetian military.

The M1 Garand appears in the hands of Roman soldiers and is the service rifle of the Roman military.
