::My last years (1996-2000) in the U.S. Army I was stationed at Ft. Drum, New York. Part of our cable television package included two Canadian television channels and since we were on our border I encountered many Canadians (to include training with the Canadian Army) and the Watertown newspaper ran many stories regarding Canada. I came to realize that Canadian gunowners shared many of the same beliefs with their American counterparts, but they also differed with us. This isn't a slam. Just an observation. | ::My last years (1996-2000) in the U.S. Army I was stationed at Ft. Drum, New York. Wrong section?
If this is an actual 'Mini-Series', shouldn't it be in the TV category? StanTheMan 02:37, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Explosive
Glad this aired on Canadian television. This would piss off American gunowners and would have created a real firestorm of controversy. I'm willing to bet it pissed off Canadian gunowners as well. The mini-series appears to follow the formula established by the German/British mini-series Traffik later remade as Traffic by Hollywood. Regardless of my political opinion the page needed links established to it. --Jcordell 15:11, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
- "Guns" wasn't actually that controversial in Canada because it referenced incidents that did happen in Toronto, and it dealt with facts that were known to most Canadians (such as how most illegal weapons are either smuggled from the US or stolen from a licensed gun owner's home). Still, the way the U.S is portrayed would probably annoy American gunowners. --Markit 16:37, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
