Baby Assassins Everyday! (Japanese title: ベイビーわるきゅーれ エブリデイ!, Beibî warukyûre eburidei!; lit. "Baby Valkyrie Everyday!") is a Japanese 2024 action-comedy miniseries based on the film series of the same name. Taking place roughly a year after the events of Baby Assassins: Nice Days, the 12-episode miniseries continues to follow young hitmen Chisato Sugimoto (Akari Takaishi) and Mahiro Fukagawa (Saori Izawa) as they navigate special company projects, job changes, and their friendship. The series is directed, produced and written by the film series' original creator and director Yugo Sakamoto, and the series' action sequences are also directed and choreographed by the films' action director, Kensuke Sonomura. A manga adaptation has been announced and is set to be released by U-NEXT Comic in early 2025.
The following weapons were used in the television series Baby Assassins Everyday!:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS briefly appears in a flashback to the events of Baby Assassins 2 in Episode 7. Akira "Mr. Purge" Hino (Tokio Emoto) briefly uses one in "Let’s Talk About the Future Together" (E12).
Glock 17
An accomplice of one of Mahiro's targets takes out a Glock 17 in "Because All I Can Do Is Kill" (E09). Akira "Mr. Purge" Hino (Tokio Emoto) briefly inspects an empty Glock 17 in "Let’s Talk About the Future Together" (E12). An assassin can also be seen using the pistol in the same episode.
Glock 45
Chisato (Akari Takaishi) uses a customized Glock 45 in "You’ve Always Got to Be Ready to Take Responsibility" (E02). The pistol is equipped with a Trijicon SRO dot sight and a SureFire RYDER 9-Ti2 suppressor.
Glock 47
Mahiro (Saori Izawa) uses a customized Glock 47 in "You’ve Always Got to Be Ready to Take Responsibility" (E02). According to the series firearm VFX artist Kazuhisa Yusa, the pistol was made from an Umarex airsoft Glock 45 with the parts from a Bomber Airsoft Glock 47 slide kit, and is equipped with a Trijicon RMR dot sight and a SureFire RYDER 9-Ti2 suppressor.
IMI Jericho 941 R
Mahiro (Saori Izawa) uses an IMI Jericho 941 R given to her by Akira "Mr. Purge" Hino throughout the Job Rotation Arc. According to the series' firearm VFX artist Kazuhisa Yusa's X account, the pistol is one of the Jerichos that was used by Kaede Fuyumura during the events of Baby Assassins: Nice Days.
Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer
Yukio Miyahara (Hirotaro Honda) uses a Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer in "What’s the Line Between Guidance and Harassment?" (E05). The pistol briefly appears in the next episode, as well. The pistol is equipped with its wooden holster stock and uses a 10-round magazine.
SIG-Sauer GSR
Kei Natsume (Takuya Kusakawa) uses a two-tone SIG-Sauer GSR as his sidearm throughout "Only Thing You Can Really Trust Is Cash" (E06). The pistol used here is the exact same gun that was used by Saori Izawa during the filming of Baby Assassins: Nice Days; a two-tone black frame and grip were added and the threaded barrel was removed to make the pistol used in this series.
SIG-Sauer P226
An Office Himawari employee is seen using the SIG-Sauer P226 in "Why Am I a Hitman?" (E11). One P226 is briefly used by Mahiro (Saori Izawa). Iruka Minami (Atsuko Maeda) briefly uses a SIG-Sauer P226 in Episode 12.
SIG-Sauer P226 (training prop)
The girls use a bright orange training model of a SIG-Sauer P226 made by American Safety Molds for disarming practice in "I Don’t Want to Learn or Grow" (E08).
SIG-Sauer P226R
The SIG-Sauer P226R is used by multiple characters throughout the series.
Springfield Armory Model V10 Ultra Compact
Chisato (Akari Takaishi) uses the Springfield Armory Model V10 Ultra Compact that she used in Baby Assassins 2 in multiple episodes of the series. The pistol also briefly appears in a flashback to the aforementioned film in Episode 7. According to firearms VFX artist Kazuhisa Yusa in his personal blog, the pistols used for filming were made using the slide of an MGC model gun, modified barrels from both another MGC gun and the Tanio Koba GM-7, and the frame of a Western Arms gas gun. Parts from the MGC GM5 were used to make the pistol more closely resemble a Springfield Armory compact 1911. The model used in close-ups was an unmodified Western Arms gas gun with Springfield Armory engravings. The pistol's sides and metal parts have been blued.
Springfield Armory Tactical Response Pistol
Mahiro (Saori Izawa) uses the same Springfield Armory Tactical Response Pistol that she used in Baby Assassins 2 in multiple episodes of the series. In a promotional video for the series, an airsoft armorer incorrectly identifies the pistol as an M45 MEU(SOC) Pistol.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 10 (snubnose)
Akira "Mr. Purge" Hino (Tokio Emoto) uses a snubnose Smith & Wesson Model 10 (with a 2" barrel) as his sidearm. Another snubnose Model 10 is seen being used by one of Mahiro and Akira's targets in Episode 9.
Smith & Wesson Model 360
Mamoru Tasaka (Atomu Mizuishi) briefly uses the same Smith & Wesson Model 360 that he used in Baby Assassins 2 in "Just Killing Them Is Fine" (E10). Firearm VFX artist Kazuhisa Yusa originally made the revolver for the aforementioned film by using a SAKURA M360J (a licensed Japanese clone of the Model 360) as a base and replacing the grip.
Smith & Wesson Model 360PD
Mahiro (Saori Izawa) almost uses a Smith & Wesson Model 360PD to execute a bag (and plush cow) snatcher in "I Will Welcome This Buddy" (E03). The revolver also briefly reappears in "Let’s Talk About the Future Together" (E12). The revolver's appearance was originally a suggestion by the series' weapon VFX artist Kazuhisa Yusa, who wanted Mahiro to use a small and concealable handgun while off-duty.
Smith & Wesson Model 40
Office Himawari keeps what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 40 in a safe as an emergency weapon. Mao Kurihara (Fujiko Kojima) briefly uses the revolver in "Because All I Can Do Is Kill" (E09).
Lever-Action Rifles
Winchester Model 1894
Yukio Miyahara (Hirotaro Honda) uses a Winchester Model 1894 in "In Ten Years, Let's Freeze A Corpse Here Again" (E01). The rifle briefly appears again in "What’s the Line Between Guidance and Harassment?" (E05).
