Pixote is a 1980 Brazilian drama directed by Héctor Babenco. The plot revolves around João Henrique (Nicknamed Pixote) a homeless boy who is detained at a reformatory; after escaping with other inmates he is recruited as a drug mule and becomes involved in a series of crimes.

Pixote (Fernando Ramos da Silva) acquires a revolver that seem to be a Smith & Wesson Model 36 after a drug deal. Dito (Gilberto Moura) uses the weapon throughout the rest of the film.
