Segurança Nacional

National Security (original title Segurança Nacional - the movie had no official US release but aired in some festivals with the title National Security) is a 2011 Brazilian action movie directed by Roberto Carminati. After their route is disrupted, a Bolivian drug cartel plans a series of terror attacks against the Brazilian government; a group of intelligence agents is tasked with stopping them.

The production had support from the Brazilian government which provided real military equipment.

The following weapons were used in the film National Security:

Pistols

Taurus PT 24/7

Daniel (Ailton Graça) uses a Taurus PT 24/7.

Taurus PT 24/7-40B (First Generation) - .40 S&W

Shotguns

Benelli M3

A policeman is seen with a Benelli M3 Super 90 Shorty during the airstrip scene.

Rifles

IMBEL M964 A1 ParaFAL

The IMBEL M964 A1 ParaFAL is used by the Brazilian Army during the opening raid.

IMBEL M964 A1 MD-1 ParaFAL - 7.62x51mm NATO

IMBEL MD97

Paco Gasca (Javier Robles) uses a IMBEL MD-97 during the air battle scene. He fires it throught a fireport in the plane's window.

IMBEL MD-97 LC - 5.56x45mm

Paco fires at the Super Tucano
The fireport can be seen in this shot. This would probably compromise the structural integrity of the window and cause the plane to lose pressure (It's worth noting that in other shots the plane is shown flying above the clouds)

Machine Guns

FN MAG

The FN MAG is used by the Brazilian Army.

FN MAG-58 - 7.62x51mm NATO.

Browning M2

An aircraft version of the Browning M2 is seen on a Super Tucano fighter during the air battle scene.
