A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth installment in the long-running Die Hard film franchise. Bruce Willis returns as John McClane, who travels to Moscow to look for his estranged son Jack (Jai Courtney), only to get caught up in another terrorist plot that the two must find a way to thwart. Directed by John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines and Max Payne), the film was mostly shot in Budapest, Hungary and was released in the US on February 14th, 2013.
The following weapons were used in the film A Good Day to Die Hard:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Pistols
Makarov PM
Jack McClane (Jai Courtney) grabs a Makarov PM from a table in a kitchen and opens fire in a nightclub in the beginning of the film.
SIG-Sauer P220 Combat
A SIG-Sauer P220 Combat is among the weapons in the trunk of the car the McClanes steal from the chechen nightclub. John McClane (Bruce Willis) takes the P220 Combat in Chernobyl and uses it aboard the helicopter.
SIG-Sauer P229R
Collins (Cole Hauser) carries a SIG-Sauer P229R as his sidearm in the film. It is seen holstered in the CIA safehouse. Yuri Komarov (Sebastian Koch) also uses a P229 in Chernobyl.
Smith & Wesson M&P
John McClane (Bruce Willis) takes a Smith & Wesson M&P from the CIA safehouse after the attack, he later gives the pistol to Jack McClane.
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS, the handgun carried by John in the earlier Die Hard films, makes a brief appearance as John (Bruce Willis) fires it on the range at the film's beginning. Jack McClane (Jai Courtney) carries a Beretta (seen in the car trunk) with Hogue tan grips in his vest during the firefight in Pripyat.
