Law & Order - Season 10
Season 10 of Law & Order saw the introduction of Jesse L. Martin as Detective Nick Green as a replacement for Rey Curtis (Benjamin Bratt), who had retired at the end of Season 9. Like Curtis, Green was fluent in Spanish and could chase guys down, but unlike Curtis, Green was more than willing to bend, and sometimes even break the rules. Right from his first episode, Green was also shown to have gambling habit, which foreshadowed his departure from the force eight years later. Carey Lowell returned for the first of two guest appearances as Jamie Ross in the fifth episode, "Justice."
The tenth season turned out to be the last for actor Steven Hill, who, aside from a few voiceovers for commercials, retired from acting before dying in 2016. Ironically, Robert M. Morganthau, the elderly real-life New York County District Attorney that Adam Schiff was loosely based upon, wouldn't retire for another nine years, ending his tenure at the age of ninety. Schiff's departure wasn't revealed until the season premiere of Season 11, where it was mentioned that he left to work on the Holocaust Project. He never returned to the series, though was mentioned to be alive as recently as Season 19.
Having lost Homicide: Life on the Street as a partner in two-parters, the show turned to its spinoff Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which had premiered that year and had already featured Angie Harmon as Abbie Carmichael in several episodes. The two shows had one two-parter, "Entitled" (the title for both Episode 14 of Season 10 and Episode 15 of SVU's first season), which aired back-to-back on the same night, and "Fools for Love" (S10E22), another standalone episode which involved the SVU cast. In the episode "High & Law" (S10E22), one of the guest stars was actress Adrienne Shelley, whose murder in 2006 would itself lead to its own Law & Order episode in Season 17.

The following weapons were used in Season 10 of the television series Law & Order:
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Detective Lennie Brisco (Jerry Orbach) is armed with a Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolver. Despite the NYPD having officially switched to automatic pistols on January 1st, 1994, older officers like Briscoe were grandfathered in and allowed to continue carrying revolvers. A nickel variant with pearl grips is seen in "DNR" (S10E03).
Unidentifiable revolver
An unidentifiable revolver is seen in the hands of a Mitchell Sims (uncredited) in "Trade This" (S10E16). It's identified as a ".38."
Pistols
Glock 19
Detective Ed Green (Jesse L. Martin) and other NYPD officers are armed with Glock 19 pistols.
Colt Commander
Dennis Trope (Neal Huff) threatens to kill himself with a nickel-plated or stainless Colt Commander in "Gunshow" (S10E01).
Browning Hi-Power
Det. Green recovers a Browning Hi-Power off of Bobby Ward (Dominic Chianese Jr.) in "DNR" (S10E03).
Glock 17
An NYPD officer (uncredited) is seen drawing her Glock 17 in the teaser of "Marathon" (S10E06). A local police officer on Long Island is seen with a Glock 17 in "High & Low" (S10E22).

Marksman 1010 BB pistol
A uniformed officer has a Marksman 1010 BB pistol in his holster in "Sundown" (S10E09). It acts as a holster-filler, as he never draws it.

Beretta 84FS

Submachine Guns
"Rolf 9" (Armitage International Scarab Skorpion)
The "Rolf 9" machine pistol is the focus of the season premiere "Gunshow" (S10E01). In reality, it is a Armitage International Scarab Skorpion, a crude "copy" of the Skorpion SA, fitted with a barrel shroud. The necessity of using a firearm no longer in production is due to the fact the gun in the episode is shown to have a design flaw that allows an individual to easily convert it from a semi-automatic to a fully automatic firearm. In the episode, the company that manufactures the weapon knows about the design flaw, but refuses to fix it because they know people are only buying that gun BECAUSE it's easily convertible.
Rifles
MGC M-16 Model Gun Corp Replica Rifle
ESU officers are seen with MGC M-16 Model Gun Corp Replica Rifle in numerous episodes. They are fitted with round A2 handguards.
Trivia
The photo of the Heckler & Koch USP used in Season 9's "Hunters" (S09E13) is shown hanging in the ballistics lab in "Marathon" (S10E06).
