Fight at the Crossroads (Boy na Perekryostke)
|
Fight at the Crossroads (a direct translation of original title Boy na Perekryostke) is a Soviet 1982 made for TV two-part adventure movie directed by Anatoly Tyutyunnik. In 1918 in Moscow Chekists disclose a counter-revolutionary conspiracy.
The following weapons were used in the film Fight at the Crossroads (Boy na Perekryostke):
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely used by Chekists and conspirators, including Michel Lafar (Maksud Imatshoyev), Yunna Ruzic (Tatyana Kondyreva), Kalugin (Valeri Ryzhakov), Ilya Frumin (Aleksandr Ignatusha) and Kovalkov (Valeriy Zhukov). All revolvers are of anachronistic post-1930 version.
Pistols
Mauser C96
Commissar of Cheka Kalugin's (Valeri Ryzhakov) personal sidearm is a Mauser C96 pistol (some features of his pistol match M1930 version, and some - classic C96). In the scene when Martin Ivanovich Lacis (Vsevolod Abdulov), high rank Cheka official, is arrested by a group of anti-Bolshevik Socialists-Revolutionaries (SRs), the latters are armed with C96 pistols.
Walther PPK
A Walther PPK, heavyly anachronistic for 1918, is seen in hands of Boris Travnikov (Vladimir Sedov), one of the leaders of anti-Bolshevik Society for Defence of Motherland and Freedom, and his aide (Pavel Remezov).
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M91s, are also used by Red Guards, Cheka personnel and SRs.
Machine Guns
Maxim M1910/30
A Maxim M1910/30 machine gun of post-1940 version is used by SRs during their rebellion.
Other Weapons
F-1 Hand Grenade
While searching conspirators' weapons cache, Chekist Ilya Frumin (Aleksandr Ignatusha) finds a number of hand grenades, including anachronistic F-1s. Screen grenades appear to be mockups, as they have different shape of the body.
RGD-33
An equally anachronistic RGD-33 is seen among the grenades, found by Frumin. It lacks the fragmentation sleeve.
RG-14
RG-14 (or RG-14/30 without fragmentation sleeve) grenades are also found in weapon cache.
Trivia
During SRs rebellion, Red Guards use a 76.2mm M1927 regimental gun, standing for similar looking 3-inch M1909 mountain gun, M1910 fortress counter-assault gun or M1913 infantry gun.
