We Will Come Back (US release title; original title Sekretar raykoma ("The District Secretary"), Eglish subtitled version Russian Guerrillas) is a Soviet 1942 B&W war movie directed by Ivan Pyryev. The film depicts the struggle of Soviet partisans unit, lead by the District Secretary Stepan Kochet (Vasili Vanin), against the occupational Nazi German troops under the command of Col. Makenau (Mikhail Astangov). When first attempts to destroy the partisans fail, Makenau infiltrates his spy Lt. Albrecht (Viktor Kulakov), who poses himself as Soviet Lt. Orlov, into the partisans unit. "Orlov"'s attempts are almost crowned with success but he is uncovered by radio operator Natasha (Marina Ladynina). Kochet uses "Orlov" to give Makenau disinformation about the meeting of partisans commanders. Partisans lure enemy troops in ambush and are victorious.
The following weapons were used in the film We Will Come Back (Sekretar raykoma):
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely used by Soviet partisans. Both pre- and post-1930 versions can be seen.
Pistols
Tokarev TT-33
A Tokarev TT-33 pistol is a personal handgun of Stepan Kochet (Vasili Vanin). Some other Soviet partisans carry TT holsters but it's hard to say if there are pistols inside. Due to continuity errors, Col. Makenau's (Mikhail Astangov) Luger P08 switches to TT in two scenes.
Luger P08
Luger P08 pistols are carried by German officers, including Col. Makenau (Mikhail Astangov). Some Soviet partisans carry Luger holsters but it's hard to say if there are pistols inside.
Mauser C96
Smolyak (Anatoliy Alekseev) carries a Mauser C96 pistol.
Submachine Guns
Suomi KP/-31
Suomi KP/-31 SMGs are widely used by Soviet partisans, standing for Soviet PPD-40s.
MP40
MP40 SMGs are widely used by German soldiers and Soviet partisans.
MP38
Some MP38s are also seen.
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891
Many partisans, including Natasha (Marina Ladynina), Sasha Rusov (Mikhail Kuznetsov), Sedov (Evgeniy Nemchenko), Anikeev (Nikolai Khryashchikov) and Kletnyuk (Vladimir Uralsky), are armed with Mosin Nagant M1891 rifles.
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Partisans also use Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles but they are rather rarely seen.
Mosin Nagant M1907 Carbine
Some Mosin Nagant M1907 Carbines are also used by partisans.
Vz. 24 Czech Mauser
Some partisans carry Mauser rifles that appear to be Vz.24 Czech Mausers.
Mannlicher M1895
German soldiers are also armed with Mannlicher M1895 rifles.
Wz. 29 Mauser
Most German soldiers and many Soviet partisans are armed with Polish Wz. 29 Mauser rifles (Wehrmacht index Gewehr 298 (p)). They are identified by large protectors of the front sight and full-length handguards. All rifles are used with attached bayonets.
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
Gavrila Fedorovich Rusov (Mikhail Zharov) is armed with a Double Barreled Shotgun with exposed hammers.
Bolt Action Shotgun
What appears to be a "Berdanka" or "Frolovka" bolt action shotgun is briefly seen in hands of a partisan.
Machine Guns
Degtyaryov DP-27
Degtyaryov DP-27 light machine guns are used by Soviet partisans.
Maxim M1910
During the battle Smolyak (Anatoliy Alekseev) and "Orlov" (Viktor Kulakov) fire the Maxim M1910 machine gun with smooth water jacket. Due to a continuity error, it several times switches places with Maxim M1910/30.
Maxim M1910/30
The Maxim M1910 several times switches places with Maxim M1910/30.
Maxim M/32-33
Finnish Maxim M/32-33 machine gun is used by German troops. Later M/32-33 is seen in partisans camp.
MG34
German troops use MG34 machine guns in several scenes. Partisans also use MG34s, both on tripod and on bipod.

RGD-33 Hand Grenade
In the opening scene a sentry at the doors of the district committee of the Communist Party carries an RGD-33 hand grenade.
"Pineapple" hand grenade
In one scene a partisan uses a "pineapple" hand grenade. It is seen through thick smoke and cannot be identified but F-1 hand grenade seems a good guess.
PzB-39 AT Rifle
A pair of German PzB-39 AT rifles is seen in partisans camp.
Granatwerfer 34 Mortar
During the attack on partisans camp German troops carry a Granatwerfer 34 Mortar. A GrW 34 is also used by partisans, manned by Semyon Rotman (Boris Poslavsky).
